 Our Ranch and Facility

Granbury, Texas

Marshall and Kelsey Mackay now reside on a small horse ranch in Granbury, Texas (Acton area).  Married in July of 2008, they met on the rodeo trail and  have focused their lives around horse and rodeo.  Both Marshall and Kelsey have grown up with horses and rodeo being one of the main focuses of their lives.  From Junior Rodeo, High School Rodeo, College Rodeo, and more; they have years of experience hitting the road and making the horses to carry them along the way.  Marshall and Kelsey know how to make a finished quality performance horse.  From the basics of ground work and breaking colts to the advanced finishing of a horse they have proven results. They know how to get a horse to enjoy what they do and to do it well.  They also understand that one of the main aspects of having a solid horse is having the foundation of a healthy horse.  Kelsey has a knowledgeable background of equine nutrition, health, therapy, injury recovery, etc.  Both Marshall and Kelsey also have training and education in the Veterinary technician field.  They have years of experience in training horses and competing in a wide variety of equine events.

They now focus on breeding, training, and sales of performance horses.  Marshall and Kelsey specialize in training rodeo horses, mainly rope and barrel horses.  They have started their horse operation with some of the finest breeding around and continue to add proven bloodlines to their operation.  Using the foundation of great horses that have years of proven success (such as Easy Jet, Doc Bar, King, Etc)  they have added names such as Dash Ta Fame, Blazing Jet O’lena, Go man Go, Truely Truckle, Streaking Ta Fame, Smoking Sparks, Smart Little Lena, Juno Dat Cash, Etc.  Watch for some of their rising stars to be picking up checks in the barrel futurities!!  They are confident in their training methods and offer quality horses for sale.

Their facility now offers a large arena, round pen, over 18 cover stalls with out-pens, horse walker, pastures, etc.  It is a very safe facility that can accomadate boarding, lessons, training, Acuscope Therapy treatments/care, or the facility to come and turn a few steers or run a pattern when planning on purchasing a horse they are selling.
